Array 'starpolygon' along closed curve

Hi! I would like to array a (closed) 'starpolygon' along closed curve, is there a way to do this? I tried the array tool in grasshopper but it semms like its going more than one around the closed curve.

Works either with polylines (where the shortest segment is divided according the shortestSegmDiv value and then the rest are divided "proportionally") or with curves.

Degree controls the resulting nurbs degree (if = 1 > kind of a star like polyline).
