Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi All,

I am sure the solution is pretty simple, but I can't figure it out, or maybe I don't know the proper component to use.

I need the output of this area component (see image) to be the total area, not 2 seperate areas.  I am going to have a bunch more values later.

Also, can I change the panel display to show the value in standard format, not scientific notation?

Thanks,

You can use the Mass Addition Component with a Flattened Input to get the total area. And you can use the Format() function to get a real number. (you can even add extra text like units with this method)

see here for more options: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/cannot-change-scientific?...

Thanks Danny!  You are a lifesaver!
