algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Area of Closed planar curves

Hi,

Basically I'm trying to measure area of various lots in a urban design.

Firstly I thought I'm doing something wrong but I double checked everything - they are closed curves, they are planar, and yet, GH isn't willing to measure their area. (Rhino does.)

Is it possible that it really is a bug?

Hi.

Your 3dm file has 3 open curves which can't return their area data.

I've modified your rhino file(closed open curves and project to cplane)

Still if I check original curves they return True for planarity & closed crv BUT using project to cplane, that you mentioned, solves the problem.
