Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello guys,

I am having a question here, it would be great if anyone here could help me out.

Can I use grasshopper as a tool to help me calculate the area of a shape?

I have heaps of them (whole suburb) to calculate and don't wanna calculate them each one by one.

Basically what i am trying to to is i want to know the number of the solid area vs open area.

Then the next step i will then start to arrange them base on the size orderly.

(like a matrix)

It would be really great if someone had an idea on how to do it. Thanks.

feed your list of curves into the 'area' component. to get the interstitial area (between 2 curves) subtract the inner area from the outer., then use sort
