algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

 

Is there a way to create a variation of masses which the size can parametrically change to meet a define set area.

 

The constants would be the base plane, which will always be a defined size, and the variables would be the height and the top plane. For example if the top plane is scaled extremely large the height would shrink to accommodate for the fixed area.

 

I've started a very basic definition but needs a lot of help.

Do you mean Volume or floor plan Areas?

What's height got to do with it then?

sorry for being unclear. Basically, the definition would take a certain volume and contour the volume into respectable floor plates. The total area of the floor plates would then have to be equal to the defined area.
