algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody,

probably this is a very easy question... but I can't find a solution.

I set two point and and arc SED.

When setting the tangent vector using a vector by components, I can not modify the tangent.

If I set value 0 a line appear

Any value >0 create an "arc" not editable....

See the attached picture for details

Any help ?

You will aways have a Z vector. For this component only the direction of the curve matters, not the magnitude (length).

What would you expect to happen?

Hi Arend , I would like to change the "angle of attack" of the arc, by modifying the tangent vector!

See the attachment, thank you !

Hi Anton

Here is the solution.

In your solution your tangent vector is in xz plane. No mater whatever the value of z, tangent will remain same. That will give you only a half circle.

It works fine on your example.

In my project the two point d0 not lay on the mentioned plane (xy).

It means i.e. that the coordinates of the first point are (0,0,0) and the coordinates of the second point are (5,0,-10).

So the solution does not work :-(

Thanks Sumeet Kumar,

I understand the logic and solved it !

Thank you very much !

I'm attaching the solution
