algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear colleagues,

Probably it's simple, but i didn't ate today so my brain is not working properly.

I have a lot of curves (it's just a sketch of my goal, I really have a lot of curves):

I want to create lines between the closest points:

and then recreate each curve passing by the middle of each line:

any ideas?

with love,

I had potato chowder with homemade curry+cheese buns and a generous helping of bacon salt butter and I'm already stuck at step 1. You can find the nearest points between two curves, but not all local minimum distance points.

I ate a cheese burger and now i can think!

Upgrading!

how to replace the points on list without null items?

Are those curves that you started with intersecting where they "cross over" each other?  It would appear not as you are drawing cross-lines at some point that is between the cross-over points.  If the curves were actually intersection then the closest point would be the intersection point and not where you drew the cross-lines.

Just checking...
