algorithmic modeling for Rhino

the picture was attached below.

new to grasshopper, and try to make a building skin like this, but I totally have no idea where to begin with, anyone could give me a hint?

At first I thought of some point attractors causing the lines to open and swell that way, but then I noticed it looks more like curve averaging, so I just traced over the major curved lines and the straight lines in between, like this:


And then lofted between each set of two lines, and used IsoCurve to do the curve averages, by varying the number of U (or V) divisions:


Which looks like this:


Of course I just traced the 2D image, and you'd want to do it in 3D, but the concept is the same. Is that a Bjarke Ingels building?
Hey, I tried to upload the definition file, and every time I click the upload file button, it just goes to the top of the page and does nothing. This is in Google Chrome, so then I tried it from Internet Explorer, and I don't even get a file upload button in that browser. Has something changed with the Ning site?
I tried, but I got a problem on setting the domain of the Range. how do you set the Domain within two lines? I used Manage Domain Collection to make it 1 and then 10, and I got some uncontrollable lines.

okay I figured out my upload problem - that little "upload file" icon on the toolbar just won't work for me for some reason, but the little link below the reply box does work. So here is the definition. (The bitmap image in the Rhino file is missing, since I cleaned off my desktop last night, but that doesn't matter.)

Concerning uncontrollable lines: You probably need to Flip some of your lines in Rhino. Lofting will create very twisted surface if your input curves are not in same direction. I'm pretty sure this is your problem, since I had same problem when setting it up.

I still don't get it. I just simply copied your lines and did the exactly the same thing as you did, I still can't get those lines. I am so frustrated...

Sorry, I should have told you this:

Right click the "S" input on the isocurves and click "Reparameterize". It will fix what your are seeing.
