Not sure if you are looking for this...but try:

http://www.spatialconnections.eu/2013/02/net-in-rhino-python-canvas...

In addition, it's also possible to set a transparency key and override the canvas background. Anything with anti-aliased edges will look like crap, but it should make the canvas fully transparent while keeping components fully opaque (see attached).

ps. this actually punches holes in the window, so mouse clicks will go on through to Rhino. Also restoring the opacity leaves the GH window in a weird state.

hi david that looks real fun but it fuked up my canvas completely and now its not so fun anymore . what do i do ?

ps i was also actually looking for another problem - the question is -

when animating a slider and thus exporting the screenshots as images to my pc - can i then export the png file with transparency included as alpha or sth . . . ? and btw jpg files come out broken [cant open in ps or any commercial viewer except irfan ://////

i already reinstalled gh  . . .

what can i do to get rif of this black - looks like inverted color canvas . .  . >./p>

thanks, these tools are great as well, making gh background transparent might be great for workflow if working on a single screen as i have to do pretty often.

But in this case I was wondering, whether it was possible to get the png screenshots of rhino viewport saved from animated slider with transparent backgorund?
