animate points by date_time

You mean you want to display them one-by-one in the order of their timestamps, or do you want to have a slider which specifies a moment in time and show all the points up to that moment? Or ...?

that would be the first one.

displaying them one-by-one.

preferably the ones that were displayed will stay visible..
