Altering triangular / hexagonal panelling to uniform member length.

Hi everyone,

I'm a newcomer to grasshopper, just wondering if there is any way of altering a surface (an asymmetrical dome-style pavillion)[image attached] so that the members used throughout the structure are of uniform dimension. Is there a way of this member uniformity altering the original geometry?

If anyone is unsure about an exact solution but could provide a strating point it would be greatly appreciated.

Also attached is the triangulated structural form that I am looking to make uniform.

Arthur did a lot of work with asymmetrical gridshell creation.  You could look at his website:

Also Google search "gridshell" for this site and a lot will come up...

Or check out Kangaroo and equilateralization for alternate ideas:

Thanks very much Taz, will check these out now.
