Hi Kim and thank you for your effort.

Actually I am trying to keep the elements straight (planar) along the surface from side to side.

So when you look at it in plan the elements are straight.

And another question, how did you make the above presentation image?

Of course you can use straight lines as rail curves for sweep, but straight sweep won't be able to generate descent surface claddings.

Regarding image you mentioned, try "Ctrl+Shift+Q"(Under the file menu-->Export Quick Image)
