Hey tried that there seems to be an error.

However, have a look at this, I have a surface and I want to highlight the boundary 

So you can see that I have the pattern at a distance away from the surface edges. I will attach the code for you to have a look, amm can you see the pattern, its just there I want the pattern to have a little thickness and not be thick all over and then I can extrude it.
