Absolute Beginner/Kangaroo/fixed length of curve/2 anchors fixed

Hi!

I want to draw a line between 2 anchor points (fixed) with a fixed length and furthermore change the shape of the curve. I tried to do this with kangaroo but it doesnt work due to the fact that don´t know how to fix the length. I think it has to work with the bend component combine it with the springts component.

Can somebody give me a hint or a screenshot of how to set this (rather easy task) up!

Thanks for your answer...but i am not sure if the catenary component will help me for this instance...the starting point of the curve and the last point shall be fixed as well as a certain length...i want to change the shape of the curve (now manually, lateron with attractors or other external parameters) without chaning the endpoints and the length?
