algorithmic modeling for Rhino

A simple questions for me as a new user :))))

Hi,

I was using GH to build up the terrain from CAD contour lines, once I made the terrain at GH, it ended up as a mesh, which is ok

Then I have CAD tree drawing from that CAD contour map (lots of circles), so I wanted to project these curves onto the mesh(the terrain) above, by using 'project' component, but the component turned red (Error: Data conversion failed from Mesh to Brep).  so the thing is : curves cannot be projected on mesh in GH (I dont wanna project in rhino)

Is anyone can help me out??

Hi wayne

you can use the project point component, just set the direction of projection

Alternatively if you want to project the circle curve you can extract the mesh edges to make single Breps and join them.
