Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm writing this little sample "gadget" for exchanging ideas with GH beginners, since I am also a beginner myself.

GH is great, it saves many geometry fans from coding and debugging by just deploying and linking components on canvas. It makes life quite easier. But if we try some coding, we may find the VB&C# components can make life the easiest.

My sample is presented in both GH and VBScript forms, they do almost the same thing. Comments are not written in codes since it's quite easy to read.

cool, thank you!

Thanks Yujun,

Would you know why the hexagons are not touching the edges of the surface and why are there many lines out of the surface in the case below?

Greetings,

Arthur

Hi Arthur,

Sorry for not having been here for a very long time.

Maybe we should pay more attention to setting the starting and ending values in the loop, since the figure implies uninitialized variables(they might use the default value which might be zero).

Best Regards,

Yujun

HI!

First of all great work!

Do you think it's possible to make the grid look like a reciprocal frame.
