Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This is my first successful definition that I have distributed to my class but I know that there is a better way to go about this. The issue is that I want to address each slice as one collection of curves. Even if that slice produces even more than one closed curve. I feel that there is a better way than exploding a tree but I wasn't successful any other way. Thanks in advance.

Hi.

Try to use "Group" & "Ungroup" + "Orient".

incredible! thank you for your quick and very successful response.

Hi Ben, I'd say using the tree is the best option, since it has your contours allready grouped.

Ah NumbersToPoints, one of the more underrated components in my opinion :)

It's highly rated over here David, just like the PointsToNumbers component. I use these all the time: helps keeping my definitions tidy/tiny :)

incredible! thank you for your quick and very successful response.
