Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I am attempting to recreate or reverse engineer the Cellular Tessellation project by Abedian Architecture. On the web it demonstrates roughly the process of how the pavillion is created. I am trying to follow what it is doing, but if i try to create a 3D voronoi around the surface it isn't hexagonal, I am not sure how should I try to fix this. It says the voronoi cells are created through the centre of the spheres, but in my script the centre of the spheres are just the points which I have divided on the surface. Is there another of doing this? Thanks in advance

Cheers,
A

You need random points so use "Populate geometry" instead of dividing the surface

Thanks MKR, I have found a lot of interesting use for populating geometry! cheers
