algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello people...

I have a 2d Grid that its been manipulated by some attractor points, however this is happening both in x and y direction. How Can I make the distortion to happen in the Z direcction as well, As if my attractors points were bubles rather than circles and my grid lines would move around them in all 3 directions.... X,Y,Z

Take a look at the jpeg and the gh definition. Any ideas for it to become a rd grid....?

Thanks

Another way could be to use a normal attractor but set the movement of each point along the vector toward its closest neighbor point from attractor outward.

michael, interesting reflexion.

do you want to give us with a definition the possibility,

to understand your reflexion ?

thanks

hi igor,

i'll try to experiment a bit with your definition
but i have the impression that with this definition is not possible,
to create dynamic and flowing curves.
the deformations occur suddenly,
and go fast back to their origin.

sorry that i have to show you another link,
but i can tell you, unfortunately, not better. ;-)
the results on the pictures look more like michaels pryors definitions.

i hope i've awakened your ambition! ;-)
so i push myself (and forum usern) the thumb.

thanks
