algorithmic modeling for Rhino

3D Cellular Automation

hi! I'm new to grasshopper. I'm working on a project, where i intend to build a vertical structure that is based upon modularized growth of pre-set units that can serve as dwellings.The growth of this system over time will be dynamic, catering future population demand.

In short, how can i make something like this? :)

there is one little problem; while going through rabbit tutorials i came across this link http://morphocode.com/work/rabbit/tutorials/conways-game-of-life-wi........ this page offers a download link to conway's game of life (a gh file).... after downloading , when i open the file in rhino it appears empty..... why is it so?

right click in box component (final output) and select preview
