This depends on starting points and settings, cant remint now what where used there... Starting points are probably all from first layer in z dimension (bottom ones) with some points missing to randomize it a bit.

Hi Mateusz,

I'm using the most up to date version of grasshopper and the 2nd part of your script doesn't seem to work. The generation value shows up as "Null" and does not respond to the boolean moving from false to true. Any idea why this might be happening?

Same problems here!!!

Any updates? Thanks a lot

same problem here ...

hallo! Thanks for sharing it, but i am currently encountering problem with running your vb code.

 the part  "Dim runCount As Integer = 0" seems to cause problem . But when i block that line, it works, but doesnt iterate throu generations. staying by 1st.

 I am interested in this code,  because i want to implement further on multiple rules in it, and with Rabbit, it s not really flexible.

Thanks in advance!

& great work on volvox)

Remplace RunCount by other variable name like counter. You can press ctrl+F, replace tab, to make it easy.

Thanks! so the same name was a problem?

Hi Ayuna. Were you able to get the script to work? Iv switched out Runcount to Counter. But still have error message;

1. Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index (line: 0)

I'm new to Grasshopper and really hoping to modify this script. As rabbit is very limiting

Yeah, just  type  something totally not similar for embedded names of functions.

here s working script
