Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi

i am new to grasshopper and im currently stuck on on item, ive started a definition which consists of a ellipses following along a rhino curve as can be seen in the attached screen shot.

i would like to split the ellipses into 3 different lists so i can scale them differently.

e.g. the ellispses at the front of the curve i want to scale smaller than the middle....

i am stuck at that point, ive only managed to get the ellipses to follow the curve, apologies if this is a really easy definition to do!

any help would be greatly appreciated as this is part of my design work!!

cheers

something to get you started:

cheers danny

much appreciated
¨the ellispses at the front of the curve i want to scale smaller than the middle¨
why dont you...
-create a point in rhino and plug it into gh
-calculate the distance between the point and the ellipses centroid
-filter the distances with a division component
-feed the ellipses radius with the division result
depending on the position of the point you will control de ellipses size

i hope i made myself kind of clear

good luck
thanks mario.

ill try this technique asap!
hi danny

i dont want to be annoying you too much but i have one last question, is it possible to control each circle i have in the attached file (circles along curve) seperately?

cheers for your help..
