algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I just seemed to have stumbled upon a bug -- timers once set free from the System Tray refuse to stop despite double clicking. If they do, they freeze up Rhino, bringing down everything.

Anyone else having the same problem or is it just my installation?

Ok sorted.. it crashed twice, but the third time, I let it come to a halt in its own sweet time -- it took about 5 mins after I double clicked on the system tray icon, and everything's back to normal. But a bug none the less. It can't be my code that I'm asking the timer to refresh, because that only takes 7ms to compute...
I'm looking at the timer code and I think it needs a rewrite.

yeah I have noticed something similar to this as well... double clicking the timer itself will stop calculations immediately but toggling the global switch off, timer events can continue for minutes afterwards.
yes, timers have been sort of buggy for a while...use with caution!
