0.9.56.0.rhi Update not installing for Rhino4

I've been trying to install the Grasshopper 0.9.56.0 update for Rhino. I currently have Rhino4. When I download the file though it just appears as an .rhi file and won't update the Grasshopper plug-in for my Rhino. I've tried dropping in the file into the Rhino screens, but that didn't work. My Rhino4 is up to date. I thought that me not having Rhino5 was the reason for the Grasshopper update not installing, but a friend of mine has Rhino4 and was able to install the update properly. How do I download the update so that it will install properly for me to be able to use it?

grasshopper only works on rhino 5 since 0.9.0051. The last version for 4 was 0.9.0014

My friend has Rhino 4 though and was able to get Grasshopper 0.9.0056 with no issues though, so I'm not sure why mine isn't working the same way.

Go in gh to version history. According that it wont work on r4.
