TT Toolbox 1.3 loads fine over here. Is there an error message anywhere?

If you double click the canvas and search for "excel", do you get anything?

no error messages and it doesn't find any of the tools.

i have both R4 and R5 installed with their own versions of GH (8.066 for R4 and latest for R5). Could that be an issue?

All Grasshoppers load their GHAs from that same AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries folder, so that shouldn't be an issue. I have no idea why it isn't loading on your machine.

Can you run the attached file and show me which folders and files it finds?

It's getting weirder and weirder. TTToolbox is clearly there, so Grasshopper should at least attempt to load it. Either it works and you get the components or it doesn't and you should get an error message.

I'm officially out of ideas of what could be wrong and how to narrow it down...

I'll try a clean install...

Is there anything in the registry that I should remove to make sure everything is out?

I doubt that'll fix anything either. Grasshopper doesn't use the registry so that at least is fine. There are files for settings and stuff that are stored on the disk.

If you want a full uninstall, then you'll need to delete the Grasshopper install folder and the Grasshopper user folder:

• %appdata%\Grasshopper\
• %appdata%\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\Plug-ins\Grasshopper (b45blahblahblah)

Thanks for all your help David.

Re-installing from scratch actually fixed it.  Weird that it happened in the first place though...  I could even see it being loaded at GH's start...

Anyways, peace has been restored in GH land once again. :D
