Event Description

On Tuesday 20th January ACTLAB is inaugurating Weaving Enclosure, an experimental installation developed during the international workshop UnExpected MateReality 2014, and synthesis of an ongoing research on the emergent properties of weaving systems at the architectural scale.

ActLab is a research unit founded in 2014 that explores the intersection node of architectural practice with computation-based tools, emergent technologies and material science. Working across different scales we redefine the concept of designing space, technology and fabrication within construction process. Our goal is to operate in the playground of contemporaneity exploring future scenarios and emerging design areas.
