Event Description
The Public, Private, Protected symposium takes stock of the current state of geometric and algorithmic literacy in architectural design education, and seeks to understand the evolving dynamic between increasingly powerful tools of design and the empowerment of designers. The discussion pivots around a manuscript for a foundational text on computational geometry and algorithmic architectural design, authored by Joy Ko and Kyle Steinfeld, and in contract to be published by Routledge by the close of 2014.
