Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello everybody,

i have a few section curves/planes which are variously positioned. Those I want to position on one plane to get them ready for cutting with a laser for a modelbuilding.

It should be a grillage/plug-in system.

My aim is also to generate the connecting like connection.jpg with grasshopper. Does anybody have an idea?

thanks a lot!

Is it easier to do it manually? What do you think about?

Haven´t tried it, but looks like this could help you.

Best,

Phillip

thanks, i found it also but the sections there are all orthogonal and not rotated in my file.

I made a definition which would let you define a guide srfs.

It´s a little older - see if it still works.

thanks for the file.

it works - but not in the way i want ;)

there are only some notches and not all notches. also there are some runtime warnings.

what do you mean with defining a "guide surface"?

what are the individual groups doing?

Hi Ker! Try this solution. Hope it helps ;)  Will be nice if someone could tell me why all my attached images are like this one

thank you very much! it looks great!

now i will comprehend what you've done.

Perhaps the padding or the width of your image is not correct.
