ignore srf seam when using srf split/differentiate inside outside boundary

Hi everybody,

Has anyone found a way to ignore srf seam when using srf split?

or let's say any way to differentiate split surface parts inside and outside of splitting curve boundary?

Like trim with Brep (you get crv inside and outside brep).

The example shows two triangles mapped over srf seam of a pipe and splitSrf returns either two branches with 3 items when grafted or 1 branch with 5 items when not grafted.

Thanks, Oliver

Hi Oliver,

If I understood you correctly, after splitting you want to get a model with holes?
Than after surface split, use the item with index "0":
