algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey,
is there a way to extract the marked edge from a MESH and translate this one into a polyline?

Thanks for any help!

Meshedittools has a component which returns the naked edges as vertex IDs from which you can draw the polyline.

Hey Anders,
thanks for your fast reply! And also thanks for the link, I already know this tool but I can't manage it to select only the vertices I need, guess it is a list problem?! Any idea for that?

cheers, Sebastian

V output gives all the vertices, use list item with it and for i input use A or B list (which gives indices of naked or clothed vertices)

Hey Mateusz,
Thanks for your help! But for input "i" A or B list, ähem what do you mean with it. I can not find anything like that. Sorry i guess you have to be a bit more directly, ... sry! Do you mean the split list component?

Oh yes, sorry about that. Here is one way of doing it which will give you a polyline for each naked edgeloop:

Ah cool, thanks it works!! Thanks for your help! Have a nice evening! :)
