algorithmic modeling for Rhino

mesh from processing to grasshopper?

Hi guys

I am new with the Ghowl tools, but is it possible to send a mesh from processing to grasshopper? The example files I have looked at only seem to deal with points or data. What I am trying to do is send points to processing from rhino, mesh them with an isosurface in processing, then send the mesh back to grasshopper for structural analysis.

Hello Jack,

Have you been successful with the first part (sending the points to processing)?

What kind of information can you get from the mesh you make in processing?  I recomment looking at how GH understands meshes.  There would be a few options.  If you can sent the verticies and a face map, then that would be great, or, you could send a cluster of verticies per face, and deal with the parsing of this info in GH.
