Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I'm still a beginner here and I'm not sure this is even possible to do.

I have a bunch of points that have no specific order except for the fact that each two follow each other (for example 4 5 8 9 2 3 6 7) when I use the SORT component in grasshopper. What I'd like to do is make a polyline going through all these points, without having it intersect with itself (which is currently the case).

The problem I'm guessing is the order of the points, although I'm not sure how I can give them the order I want. (they are created in grasshopper so I can't move them in Rhino to get the polyline I'm looking for). I tried convex hull but the polyline doesn't go through all the points.

Does this make sense?

Any ideas?

thanks!
