algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello,
I have a project to generate a mandala in grasshopper.
I just started, but it brought me to other questions.
So ill start here andill bring up all achievements in here.
I started generating a circle, dividing it in points, selecting 1 point on two to join them in an arc. but it came i wondered if we could delete intersecting geometry.
In 01.jpg join in here, i just deleted in rhino the segments i didnt wanted (for example)
How could it be done in grasshopper?
In 02.jpg i just simplified my issue with a rectangle and a circle. If the two overlap, is it possible to create a new line with largest segment as show in the image?
Thank you for your help and wish u all great developpements!

Thank you
i started using this technique of trimming.
I was trying to use the created curve to build make surface so i can for example populate point inside of it.
I could only make a surface out the initial curve but not the trimmed one.
Maybe someone has a way to to that.
I join the step two of the mandala construction.
Thank you
Like this?
