algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi everyone,
I have a lofting query.
I have a surface that I altered, I contoured it, manipulated it, and now want to loft it back into a surface.
I am having difficulty in lofting. The loft seems to twist and turn, even when I tried to seam the curves. I also noticed that the surface from the loft does not goes through the curves, but rather it is offset.
I don't know if it is possible to achieve a perfect loft through these curves? Please let me know if there is a way to get the loft to work.
Appreciate your help in advance.

Hello JUTAD
after trying many components and option, the best fit i could get is with sweep 2 component. take a look at the following
loft is interpolating and because of the curvature differences between the curves outputs the weird result. Rebuilding the loft with a high count somewhat solved the issue but the kink parts of the show became curvy.
Also in your definition the rebuild curves output is organized as a data tree, with each branch having 58 curves. so you are producing way more lofts than wanted, making the file heavy to work with.
cheers
alex
edit, i have not internlized the curves so the gh file still needs your rhino file to work. you will also need to bake the results to see the shape, because gh preview seems a bit jagged.
