I got this idea when thinking how to teach GH. Actually there is a long history of playing spelling game(Scrabble) to stimulate our knowledge and ability of vocabulary.
Card game is an another approach for brain exercise,…

There is an ongoing debate in my office between those who like to organize their definitions with hidden wires for the sake of cleanliness, and those who hate them because it makes definitions hard to debug. In order to sidestep any drama, I made a little script that lets you switch all the wires in a document between "Hidden" and "Faint." It will leave all wires set to default alone.
Download it here: …

In the previous version was using a panel component to set the wormhole, which was quite annoying. This time the canvas itself is used, so that we can move the canvas to any part of our definition that the hole will be there. Besides, the wires are above the window.
This open script in VB lets you set a transparent…

Hi,
I'm pretty new to Grasshopper and i'm using it for a unit of my Masters.
The problem is:
I have 2 sets of curve(polygon) data. Set 1 is small building outlines. Set 2 is the plots of land which the buildings sit. There are over 2000 of these entries (Its a small village).
I am trying to figure out the way that grasshopper sorts lists using the sort list tool. I basically want to calculate the area of the buildings and the individual…

Spatially varying fields, which associate a value (such as a number or a vector) to every point in space, have a wide range of applications.
I wanted a simple way of defining such a field in a Grasshopper script component as an…

I just finished this Definition. It creates a Grid of single curved surfaces that can be unrolled and used for production because the connection holes are already set.
I tried to get as close as possible to THIS project.…

Fancy building a robot lab?
We're need volunteers to assist building a mini two-robot lab at RoboFold / Robots.IO until December 19th. Message me if you want to join us...
Details:
We are building the extruded aluminium enclosure, integrating the electronics for the robots, end-effectors and safety system - this involves assembly, some wiring if you're used to wiring diagrams, and of course testing with the IO robot…

Dearest Community,
I just finished this definition (download below). All you need is curves with G4 that can be lofted to a surface that defines the form of the Grid.
I used the plugin FabTools wich is indeed very useful, and I recommend to install it.
Bollinger and Grohmann built the Hermés flagship store using a similar workflow, although they are so much more sufisticated in this workfield. …
