Antifunicular structure 1

This investigation presents a methodology for structural design and analysis that involves a continuum between physical models and the digital environment.
The methodology is carried out through the design of structures with physical form-finding models. During this exploration, the movement is recorded through motion capture, either to obtain the geometry of the structure in static equilibrium or its motion when subjected to various impulses.

To capture the model I used the Qualisys system and to import, analyse and manipulate the data in Grasshopper I used a new plugin that I created called Horse.
