to do this you need a closed polysurface first- I made mine by lofting 3 splines. Once you have the form you need one definition to make the ''waffles''
and one to make the facets of the outer skin.thats it

you can always extrude drawn in Rhino curves,
you just need to select them as a curve component as input in GH
check some of the startup-tutorials on this page
