shell thickness variation through millipede and structural analysis

Hi,

My aim is to get a thickness variation depending on the kind of loads in order to have an efficient structural performance. I tried to run a topological optimization and starting from the results given I analyzed the structure through Karamba. 

I'm not sure if it is a correct process for my purpose so if I could receive any suggestions/corrections of my process it would be very appreciated.

Moreover, if there are any ways to get this kind of process I would be happy to know it.
