Karamba Displacement in terms of axis

Hi, 

Please, can someone tell me how Karamba 'Analyze THl' calculates the displacement output that it shows in 'Disp' option? More specifically, in which direction is this. If I apply gravity loads as well as lateral loads, I only get one displacement value. How do I know the direction of this?

Hi Ajaz,

the 'Disp' output-plug of the 'Analyze THI'-component returns the absolute value of the largest displacement encountered in the model for each load-case (see the Karamba3D manual for details).

In case you want to get displacement vectors either use the 'Nodal Displacements'- or the 'Beam Displacements'-component.
