algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear Karamba team,

It is possible to assign beam joints to elements individually? I need to optimize the distribution of joints and would like to set up a list of 0 and 1 integers sliders correponding to a rigid and pinned joints at the end of the beams, run galapagos with karamba and find the best way to distribute the beams along the structure.

Regards,

Dear Márcio,

the 'Beam-Joints'-component lets you assign joints to beams based on their element identifiers. The default identifier of any element is its index. So you could generate a list of indexes, cull some members and then use it to assign joints.

Best,

Clemens
