GH + Excel

Hi people, 

Im starting to study GH and i have a list of numbers in Excel that means the variations of plants resistance extracted via Arduino, I downloaded gHowl and Open XML to use in GH but i have no idea how to use, i learned in some tutorials here how to open and use, including the "Example Files" that didnt work with the xlsx archive that was in the paste. The parameters is still in red and i dont know why. 

Is there anyone that could help me? Any similar project? Or tutorials explaning from the begining how to use gHowl and Excel?
