algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Firstly,
Thanks for all your work on gHowl... really great tools!
I am looking for advice on how to approach the GPS data that I am getting out of a GPS logger. The format is currently GPRMC and I would like to be able remap this into xyz.
It seems as though I need to convert my GPRMC into WSG84... which would then allow me to use the Geo to XYZ component.
You can see below that I have tried unsuccessfully to use the Format Geo component with the raw GPRMC file (that would be too easy) and then again with the first two lines removed so that it was just the body of the coordinates.
Should I format the strings further to get rid of all the unnecessary stuff?
Thanks for any advice and all the work you've already done.

Disregard my question... I just found the ghowl example files... and there is tons of information there to keep me busy and help me out.
Thanks
AB, let us know if you run into any further issues. The formatting takes the NMEA numbers like this:
xxxx.xxxx
and turns it into decimal degrees: ###.####. So yes, you need to feed it just the numerical data of longitude and latitude and omit the rest of the stuff.
