wave

hello I do not know if I can explain exactly but my intention would be to model a surface made with rhino wave through the grasshopper comado "graphmapper".
This it would serve to create a cover formed by more waves where in turn would build a triangular mesh to be extruded into pipe
immediately I thought of creating a domain by putting the values and the surface to be connected then with the graph but my surface remains unchanged and what you see on the internet as examples talk of creating line on the surface and through the spacing them graph.
Someone kindly you can show a little guidance about what I would do?
