Very easy question for you (close a sort of perimeter)

Hi guys

I have a sort of "perimeter" (this perimeter could be different, with more openings instead of 3 of the image). I would close these "openings", but without the Extend command (these openings could have different length). Is there someone that could help me?

your lines are drawn the otherway around try putting a flip curve component into and see if you get better results

Nothing ... problem persists :-(

But ... in the attachment 2 points flow on a line, if one of this point flow on the first segment and the second point flow one the consecutive line maybe works!! On each line there will be one start point and one end point ... Hope that someone could help me!! :-(

'Morning!

Just a messy and criminal solution

Select lines / Join the lines to polylines / Extend at Start & End / Join again.

My figure:

WOW ... it works. But now I've a unique perimeter. Is there a method to have the original perimeter and only the relative openings line??

I put "Trim with region" and seems to work ...

But ... I hope that works with anything ... eheheh!! :-)

Nothing ... it doesn't work ... My approach isn't right ...

is this what you want?

Sorry, I don't want the length of perimeter ... I would like to have the original shape (wall) and the opening's shape (window) separately. In this case I can select the walls or the openings ;-)

next one

what i want is to generate pipes in 2 steps.

1) pipes for the lines between the gaps

2) pipe for the closed polyline

Then i want to make a difference, to explode the remains (the gaps) and to get the line length.

Atm i get 2 cylinder/gap and i dont know why. Also cylinder on small gaps arent working well.

What do you think?

Would be nice if someone can help with this problem ...

Yeah ... I thought something like that (but with 2D shape). I don't know how solve this ... I thought that was easy, but isn't :-(
