Updating the Grasshopper Python component

I tried to download and install a recent version of the Python Scripting Component onto another computer, and I got these errors:

I've tried deleting the older .gha before installing the new, and I have of course selected the 'Replace All' option, but both end up leaving me with the older component.

 

Should I uninstall and reinstall?

Hi Benjamin,

can you try manually deleting the old .gha file (which was internally called TestPython)?

Grasshopper needs to be closed for this to be possible. The file is probably located in
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries

PS: if this does not help, could you run the _GrasshopperDeveloperSettings command and send a screenshot.

I thought I already tried that, but I did it again and it worked.
