Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Unable to load DLL 'rhcommon_c'. . .

Hey all,

 

I recently attempted to install the most current version of grasshopper, but I'm having zero luck getting it to run.

 

I am running Windows XP on VMWare. Yesterday I installed the following:

Windows service pack 3

Rhino 4.9

The newest version of grasshopper

2005 C++ runtimes

 

However, every time I try and run grasshopper I still receive the same error message.  Any ideas?  Thanks for your help.

i have the same problem! but i'm running WinXp on Parallels.

were the C++ runtimes the 32-bit version (ends in x86)?

You need to download and install the updated Microsoft runtimes.

 

Read the bold red text at the top of this page and do as the cat says.
