trim function

Salut,
I know you discussed it a hundred times but I still have no idea how it works, ... I tried it as far as I could! Trim function as you can see in the attached picture. Any idea how to solve it?
(The component I played with is by http://www.livearchitecture.net/archives/6174)

if you close your BRep, you can use "trim curves with Brep" - or, even simpler, just use "trim with region" and feed in the outline of your surface. Just make sure the solution plane is the XY. In the attached screenshot I'm using the fact that surfaces auto-convert to their outlines when fed into a curve component.

But if I have more than one surface, it won't work. The surfaces are all different. Any idea what happened? I attached the rhino file with the surfaces, ...
