still working on making the path handling robust, but a promising start!

How did you start doing it? I have done it once like this:

Best Regards

this is maybe a more comfortable:

Hi Johannes,

Cool quick way you posted here... a couple big differences to my approach are:

1) I am using fancywires hack of Giulio's txtLines script - so it produces actual curves rather than tags

2) I am using the actual text spacing (notice how far apart the i and s are in your "is")

i'll post a gh file soon...

thanks for your input!

Hey

1) I like real texts for further working (Autocad;Allplan)

2) oh yes, the real spacing is something  I did not have an eye on :-)

Hi,

In my opinion, the text width should be considered an "i" do not do the same space as a "m"
yes, that is what gotjosh mentioned with 2) (I think :-))
indeed ;-)

Ok escuse me,

Waiting to hear from you about this.

Thanks a lot

Ok then, i got it so i can pass in multiple sentences and multiple curves to follow.

It manages to keep things in order reasonably well, but i'd like to improve the orientation.

This image above is using horizontalFrames along the curve (perfect for top down viewing)

However, If I try to orient using CurveFrames instead of horizontal (see below), then I get many of the characters flipped on the "wrong" side of the curve... but hugging the curve orientation very nicely!

Any ideas how i can flip/orient only those mis-behaving characters?

Your definition is too long and complex for this sort of thing. (well that's what I think)!

This project: text along crv !I think there is more simple!

and more, this text is explosed ...

Well after a little research, Either type is written in "Courier" and the problem is resolved.

Either by knowing the width of a letter "x", the "hunting", and the approach we should be able to do that well!
