Splitting a Surface with Multiple Offsets

different approach, in general split is heavy.

Thanks for the response Michael! The offset lines don't create closed regions (like the rectangle). I am not using a rectangle because, what i am applying it to, is four sided but isn't a rectangle. That is why i want to split surface, then extrude surface. Does this make sense?

It seems the split component does not always keep the surfaces in order. Try this one.
