Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all!

I just downloaded both Rhino and Grasshopper two days ago, so I have no idea.

But somehow I managed to define a hexagon grid (that is supposed to be a grid of building plots) and then from the centre of each hexagon of the grid rises a hexagon building. I managed to figure out how to control heights and radius and corners BUT I need to control each hexagon seperetly. I looked for some kind of "explode" function, but no luck there :P

I attach my file so you can take a look (and a good laugh). The left part is a way I found to manage some rows together, but it is not what I want.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

first watch some tutorials. I prefer digitaltoolbox.info
thanks, I will do that of course, I just thought I could take a shortcut for this specific one :)

You can enter a list of data in a panel component (uncheck multiline data) but it will all be contained in a single tree.  Graft the data so each item has it's own branch. It will then line up correctly with the data in in your extrude component.
